Hemwar is on the tutorial deck of the Merryweather. He is guarded by Magister Rennart, who fell asleep at his post. Hemwar claims to not know the reason for his detainment, but Rennart implies he is held in suspicion of Finn's murder.

If unlocking his cell, Hemwar joins the player character to attack Rennart. Upon disposing the Magister, Hemwar attacks the player character.
