Out along the road, we found a trail of blood. Someone died here.

Find the corpse of Garvan's master.
From Garvan's flesh we learned that he killed Liam, his master, somewhere near a bridge.

Dig down.
We followed the blood to a shallow grave.

Identify the killer.
In the grave we found a corpse - a trader, murdered by someone he knew.

Speak with the spirit of Liam.
Liam's ghost wants revenge on his killer.

Execute Garvan.
Liam wants us to return with proof of Garvan's death.

Bring Garvan's head to the spirit of Liam.
We killed Garvan.

Quest complete.
If offering Garvan's head: Liam's ghost told us of a hidden cache in Cloisterwood. If consuming Garvan's head: Garvan's head was eaten. Without proof of his revenge, Liam can't be at peace.
