Shadow over Driftwood is a quest in Divinity: Original Sin II. It is part of the chronicle Mastering the Source.

Objectives

Search the abandoned house.
  • In Driftwood, we came upon an abandoned house.
  • The criminal Lohar asked us to search his associate Mordus' house on the edge of Driftwood.
Search the cellar of the abandoned house.
  • A dishevelled dwarf barred our way to the cellar... until we mentioned Lohar.
  • We fought the dishevelled dwarf. She really didn't want us to use that hatch.
  • We climbed down the hatch.
  • We found a pair of dwarven thugs in a hidden chamber. We let them leave.
Pay Lohar a visit.
  • We found a letter from a mysterious figure. It orders Mordus to kill Lohar.
  • The letter to Mordus mentioned a ritual: 'Mord'Akaim'. It sounds ominous.
Speak with Lohar.
Go to the Wreckers' Cave.
Explore the Wreckers' Cave.
  • We found the Wreckers' Cave. Something terrible has happened here.
  • In the cave we found a dwarven survivor, mad with fear.
  • A Voidwoken dragged us deep into the cave.
Vanquish Mordus.
  • Mordus has transformed into a Voidwoken.
Speak with Mordus.
  • We defeated Mordus. He begged us to spare him.
Report back to Lohar.
  • If killing Mordus: Mordus is dead. We should bring back proof to Lohar.
  • If sparing Mordus: Mordus gave us his amulet. With it, we can convince Lohar that Mordus is dead.
Quest complete.
