The Merryweather is a chronicle in Divinity: Original Sin II. It is initiated during the Prologue upon reaching the lower deck of the Merryweather.

Will we escape the Merryweather?

Reach the lower deck of the Merryweather.
  • Lucian the Divine, the champion of the Gods, sacrificed himself to save Rivellon from the Void. His son Alexandar now leads the Divine Order.
  • The Divine's sacrifice did not buy peace. The rise of the Voidwoken brought the world death, destruction, and fear.
  • Alexandar's advisor Dallis noticed that the Voidwoken are attracted to Source. Alexandar quarantined the Sourcerers.
  • We're aboard the Merryweather, on our way to the Sourcerer colony of Fort Joy. We are told there is a murderer on board with us.
Finn's murderer confesses.
  • Confessing to murder, the Sourcerer Windego implied that we had something in common with her victim. She triggered an explosion and escaped.
Enter the skull-marked room on the middle deck of the Merryweather.
Reach the upper deck of the Merryweather.
  • Attracted by the Source unleashed in the explosion, a gigantic Voidwoken attacked the ship.
Rescue the Origin characters and escape the Merryweather.
  • Some of the passengers were trapped between decks, but we fought off the Voidwoken and made it out of the ship.
Escape the Merryweather.
  • The Merryweather sank and all aboard are seemingly lost.
