Text

1218 AD: Lucian & The Black Ring

★In this treatise, Cranley the scribe goes to great lengths to document the genesis of the Black Ring, as best he can. In summary - Lucian's adopted son Damian was resentful of his father and became the Lord of Chaos (which sounds extreme, but according to Huwbert, Damian may have had good reason - there is much about Lucian's killing of Ygerna, Damian's lover.) Damian's banner attracted a cabal of outcasts, deviants, dark wizards and various other tainted and tarnished individuals. The cabal became an army, fighting for the Void.★
