Otho is a temperamental dwarf who is critical of other races. He initially distrusts the player character, suggesting that they bother "the elf" because Template:Icon DD might not mind the human stench of pig flesh.
Despite his burly demeanor, Otho is treating the injured soldier Template:Icon DD in his house. He believes both Verlat and Template:Icon DD will die because the healers lost their connection with the Source, which limits their healing ability. The only alternative is to use the last healing gem from Template:Icon DD shrine but both Otho and Goemoe are forbidden to cause death, even from inaction. If they heal one soldier, the other is doomed.
Attitude
If taking herbs from Template:Icon DD garden without permission, Otho rushes to the player character and accuses them of stealing. Template:Icon DD Template:Attitude
