The Lava Fields are a location on the Nameless Isle during Act Three of Divinity: Original Sin II.
Overview
The Lava Fields are a wide expanse of Lava and Cursed Fire Clouds. Stepping on Lava causes instant 
Death . However, there are various reliquaries and corpses with loot scattered throughout the fields, and a backdoor entrance to the Academy via Abandoned Service Tunnel. Entering the Academy through this passage allows the party to skip most Quests on the Nameless Isle.
