A common tool required to dig up ground. You can find your first shovel near the beach at Fort Joy.

First Shovel

1. Start at the entrance to Fort Joy at x:206, y:203.
2. Head to point x:214, y:254.
3. Head up the path onto the bridge and a shovel will be located next to the fireplace.
